Contract: HSE Advisor/Permitting Specialist / Greeley

A major oil and gas operatos is looking for an HSE Advisor/Permitting Specialist to support operations in Greeley, CO or remotely. Schedule is 9/80 and must be available to work weekends. This is a 3 to 12 month contract with the potential for permanent hire based on performance. 

The Health, Safety, and Environmental Advisor provides overall safety leadership in accordance with company and OSHA standards. The HSE Specialist is involved in inspecting workplaces to make sure employers are compliant with health and safety regulations and providing feedback to managers and employees regarding health and safety standards, in the event of violations. Provides support to project implementation to ensure compliance.

Responsibilities:
• Conducting inspections
• Assembling permit requests
• PDF Conversions of documents for state and county submission
• Tracking status of all ongoing projects weekly and monthly
• Create, control, and maintain Permitting files and document
• Desktop scouting and review of potential sites for HPH, RBUs, and DICs
• Identifying violations
• Weld Oil & Gas Location Assessment - Preparing and Submitting
• Weld Oil & Gas Location Assessment Hearings

Required Qualifications/Skills:
• 3 Years of Experience
• Weld Oil & Gas Location Assessment and Colorado Oil & Gas Conservation CommissionSpecialist
• Comprehensive Weld Oil & Gas Location Assessment and Supplemental WOGLA
• Location Assessment for Pipelines Permitting for Midstream Pipelines (Weld County)
• Knowledge of the laws and regulations of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)

Education
• Bachelors’ Degree in industrial hygiene, occupational health, health physics, or a relevant scientific field.
• CIH Credential
• CSP Certification
