The Client Woodside an Energy Operator in Perth CBD are currently seeking a Senior Contracts & Procurement Advisor- Plant & Equipment to join them for a 2-year contract.
Join a team that is focused on delivering value through strategic decision making to support global operations and aftermarket support for major greenfield projects.
This role joins the Plant and Equipment team and oversees All OEM production critical kit.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Join a team that is focused on delivering value through strategic decision making to support global operations and aftermarket support for major greenfield projects.
This role joins the Plant and Equipment team and oversees All OEM production critical kit.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manages the more strategic OEM relationships (e.g. GE/BH, Siemens, Honeywell etc)
- Collaborating on all Stakeholders - site and Perth - maintained and engineering teams.
- Look at how we improve contract performance.
- Progressing Aftermarket activities, leveraging greenfield projects. Negotiate Service / Maintenance at the same time of CAPEX purchase.
- Highly effective leadership and collaborations with stakeholders
- Interaction with Senior stakeholders
- Ability to develop relationships and work with external stakeholders to influence desired outcomes
- Key role in improving commercial acumen across the business, particularly post-award (Contract management)
- Sound knowledge of SAP particularly outline agreements and materials management
- Experience in developing and delivering category strategies, contracting strategies and plans
- Proven capability in developing ITTs / RFQs, taking leadership in the development of commercial provisions particular rates and price preamble and gathering inputs from key internal stakeholders
- Commercial and contractual negotiations of new contracts through to approval of contract execution and compliance with governance (experience in negotiating with OEMs desirable)
- Work within a strong team culture embracing collaboration, diversity of thought, and providing support as well as mentoring Graduate C&P Advisers
- Relevant experience in Operations (a production background) is desirable
- Experience in working in the commercial / contract teams within major equipment suppliers would be an advantage.
