UX Designer – 12 Months Contract – London W1W - Hybrid
Key Criteria · 5+ years’ experience in an UX Design role. My client is looking for a UX Designer that has a strong agency background, that can work on new innovations, they are not looking for a UX Designer to improve or amend, but to build from scratch an innovation that doesn’t exist and will be a completely new product, as you can imagine this is going to be an exciting opportunity. Also experience of user testing, product prototypes, already have some, test the prototype and give feedback and running sessions and collating results
UX Research knowledge spanning customer facing digital experiences, customer applications, and associate tools, as well as physical hardware and software-hardware integration.
Desirable Criteria · Experience conducting and incorporating optimised user journeys for physical environments, omnichannel experiences and digital services, including aspects of human factors · Experience translating business and customer requirements into a compelling holistic experience across different touchpoints. · Very good understanding of areas of specialisation within the greater design landscape, including but not limited to research, visual design, and development.
Working directly with the founders, you’ll have the opportunity to develop and execute your own designs that will have a real impact on the direction of the product roadmap. You will also be responsible to become the user champion for all the initiatives developed by the Incubation Team and support all the ventures that are incubated by the Programme Managers Core Activities ·

- Championing the user at all times whilst keeping business goals in mind
- Owning the full development lifecycle, from whiteboard to UI/UX wireframe to prototyping to engaging with users to reduce unnecessary complex steps in our services
- Conduct UX research: market/industry insights for segmentation and persona creation facilitate user research (internal / with users / with experts), user interviews, usability testing (labs and remote) etc.
- Lead the use of design research techniques to uncover customer needs and pain points.
- Working closely with internal design resources, engineering, founders and cross-function teams to develop innovative end-to-end solutions that address successful customer outcomes. Iteratively evaluate these solutions until outcomes are achieved or hypotheses are proven wrong, informing and aligning on any trade-offs
- Working closely with the HSE, Software and Hardware development, Legal and Marketing teams to uncover all possibilities and limitations and to ensure the best experience for users
