We are looking for a Local candidate to work as Junior Mechanic for an International Oil Services Company in Kurdistan.

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Schedule: 14 days on / 14 days off (Field base)

Location: Duhok

Key Responsibilities:

Assist Chief Mechanic with Rig and Camp mechanical maintenance requirements.
Carry out duties assigned by Sr. Mechanic.
Follow all IMS procedures and instructions as instructed by Sr. Mechanic
Assist Sr. Mechanic in stock control of all mechanical spare parts kept on the Rig.
Monitor appropriate functioning of rig and camp mechanical equipment while working independently on night shift.
Carry out duties assigned by Night Tool Pusher.
Relieve the Sr. Mechanic during his absence.
Attend all Safety and Quality related meetings and TBTs and strictly comply with the instructions given.
Execute your duties as Rig/camp fire fighting team member as instructed by the Rig Manager or Sr. Mechanic.

Requirements:

At least 3 years of s mechanical experience within the oil drilling industry.
Must have Diploma/Industrial Training in Mechanical Trade.
Must have a theoretical and practical knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatic, engines, etc.
Must be able to communicate fluently in written and spoken English.
