Well Testing Supervisor / Namibia

Well testing - DST

The well testing activity from shore, is managed by the engineer or superintendent with good knowledge of deep-water completion and DST techniques that will allow to provide additional support to the supervisors on site during operations. The Well test and Completion engineer has to have a global project point of view and able to focus on details where required :

* Validate the design aspects of the operations.
* Assist offshore supervisors with equipment preparation, reporting, instructions to the rig.
* Follow the execution of the well test program and amend if required with the support of the drilling team onshore.
* Support operations with mobilization of equipment, daily activities during operations, cost follow up, incidents to be solved.
* Contribute to know-how by passing knowledge in the service.
* Ensure Quality and HSE are at the highest level possible and injuries or accidents are avoided as much as possible.
Previous operator experience could be a plus, good communication skills, flexibility and quick adaptation to environment will be much appreciated.

Authority :

Ensure the respect of safety rules, of the environment and of the frame of reference.
Guarantee the accomplishment of the completion and/or work-over operations, in compliance with codes of practice, safety and environmental protection, all while optimising costs and lead times.
Ensure the suitability to operational requirements of personnel, equipment and services.
Contribute to optimize, through a continual search for the improving equipment, services and operational procedures .

Competency (Technical) :

Mandatory : fluent in English (spoken and written) & (French spoken will be a plus) /ideally with 15 years' experience
Must be vaccinated against COVID 19
Mechanical Diploma (Bachelor or University diploma or Higher Technical diploma).
IWCF "Updated" -> eLearning Certification is not accepted.
BOSIET (Opito) with Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System (CA-EBS) Training
Medical certificate (less than 1 year) by an official organism (i.e. : ISOS center).
