Contract: Security Analyst / Calgary

The highly valued Oil and Gas client is seeking add an experienced Security Analyst to their team! This is a long-term contract located in Calgary, AB. Monday - Friday 40/hr work week.

Duties Include

-Involves developing and supporting solutions in SAP Security, designing related security solutions and services along with a significant focus on audit compliance and reporting through annual cycles.
-Designs, develops, modifies, tests deployed SAP Security solutions.
-Work includes test-to-production processes, quality assurance, maintenance and documentation of applications.
-Makes decisions and recommendations on highly technical or complex issues and without formal guidelines or precedents and exercises resourcefulness and ingenuity to interpret policy.
-Involved in highly complex matters and business processes that have impact for the organization and involve Senior Management strategic decisions.
-Provide collaborative consulting services to business and major enterprise initiatives.
-Proactively identify information management risks and issues and drive creative solutions.
-Represent Business Information in enterprise technology planning and implementation as it relates to collaboration and information management.
-Build strong interdepartmental relationships and increase the profile of the Business Information department.
-Anticipate a changing business environment, areas of risk, and initiate changes and improvements as necessary.
-Lead and develop Tier 2 & 3 support on client side for the application support team.
-Transfer knowledge and technical expertise to other team members and to business.

Skills and Qualifications

-Systems analysis knowledge would be considered an asset
-Security background would be considered an asset
-University Degree or equivalent expereince in a related field
-7-10 years of expereince 
-Proficeincy in SAP
