A major oil and gas operator is looking for an Organizational Change Management Analyst to support operations in Houston, TX on a M-F schedule working 8 hrs a day, 40 hrs a week. This is a 12 month contract opportunity with the potential for extension or permanent hire.
This contract position is responsible for creating and implementing internal communications plans supporting IT digital strategy change management initiatives. Reporting to the Communications & Change Sr. Analyst, this role translates IT and digital strategies into key messages, develops appropriate communications initiatives in support of these strategies, and executes programs to create awareness, excitement, engagement, and align teams.
Responsbilities
• Developing and implementing communications plans, including communications campaigns around IT and digital strategies
• Developing and implementing communications materials using a variety of tactics (presentations, responses to questions, key messages, leadership talking points and town halls)
• Ensuring messaging and materials are high quality, accurate, appropriate, and aligned with IT and digital strategies
• Assisting in planning, coordination, and execution of internal employee events
• Working with creative services to develop video messaging
• Refining core messaging materials to ensure consistency across all aspects of communication
• Ensuring consistent framing of messages
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Communications, Public Relations, or other related business field
• 5+ years of experience with business communications, stakeholder assessments or project execution support
• 1+ years of experience with supporting organizational change and/or business readiness including developing support tactics, and plans from ideation through execution
• Excellent communications skills, including writing, proofreading, and editing abilities
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft O365 applications
