My client is one of the fastest-growing companies on the European market of large-scale solar energy. They are present throughout Poland and Italy, Portugal, Spain, the Netherlands, and Germany. Due to the dynamic development of the company, we are looking for people for the following position:

Director of Project Development

LOCATION: SPAIN
The Director of Project Development for Spain identifies, analyses and executes utility scale solar energy opportunities to develop, build and operate solar projects in Spain.
They will be responsible for creating their own project development team, from the land acquisition phase, through the permitting process, to obtaining RTB status.

Responsibilities
Implementation, development and monitoring of the development strategy in the Spanish market;
Build and manage your own development team, carrying out the entire process of obtaining permits, supervising the negotiations;
Bring new opportunities and contribute to the definition of internal strategy;
Development of projects for permit processes before the administration and public entities in order to obtain construction permits;
Supervise team management;
Negotiate and secure lease agreements;
Investigate the regulatory framework to identify the best business development options;

Requirements
More than 3 years of experience in obtaining permits for solar projects
Experience in site evaluation, building permits and grid connection processes;
Languages: command of Spanish and English;
In-depth knowledge of the solar energy sector and the legal aspect of the permitting process is required;
Bachelor's degree;
Great capacity for analysis and problem solving;
Focused and goal oriented.
