Senior Project Manager / Australia

The client has been successfully operating over 25 years specializing in commercial fit outs and refurbishment’s up to the value of 10 million dollars.

They have won employer of choice at the Australian business awards the last 3 years in a row.

This is a privately owned national business that has been operating for close to 20 years, the business has offices across all of the east coast
  
The business has successfully delivered a range of commercial projects from schools, healthcare and high end fit outs and much more, most project values have ranged from $5M - $10M

  
About you: 

• Ideally you will have operated within the commercial construction space
• You will have strong communication, organisational and budgeting skills.
• You will have led projects in their various stages from conception through to completion
• Have the ability to manage factors like integration, scope, timelines, cost, quality, human resources, communications, risk, and procurement for your project
• It will be essential for you to have an open and collaborative style that allows you to build good working relationships with your trade partners.

Roles and Responsibilities of the Senior Project Manager will include:

• Setting programs and budgets from structure through to handover
• Managing client and consultant relationships
• Driving construction teams and subcontractors on site
• Bringing projects in on time, to quality and under budget

Requirements to be considered for the Senior Project Manager role:

• Experience managing complex commercial projects up to $10 million
• Client facing with a proven track record in working well under pressure
• Sound knowledge of the construction market including sub-contractors etc
• Ability to lead and performance manage a large construction team to achieve agreed outcome.
