Contract: Contracts & Procurement Adviser- Drilling & Completions / Perth

The Client Woodside a Global Oil & Gas major Operator in Perth CBD are currently seeking a Senior Contracts & Procurement Adviser- Drilling & Completions to join them for a 12-month contract.
The Senior Contracts & Procurement Adviser is a key member of the contracts team who will lead and drive commercial outcomes in the Drilling & Completions division.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Lead and drive commercial and contracting outcomes in the designated portfolio area.
• Maximise synergies across projects to deliver maximum value.
• Ensure contracts, purchase orders and call-offs comply with the Contracting and Procurement Procedure.
• Take accountability of the contracting lifecycle from Category Strategies, Contracting Plans, ITT/RFQs, Authority for Contract Execution, Negotiation Plans, Tender Evaluation Plans, Contract Variations, and other associated approval documents.
• Continually identify and pursue commercial and cost saving opportunities within the portfolio.
• Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure evaluation criteria, terms & conditions, and departures are accurate.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure adequate representation and visibility of commercial matters.
• Ensure that commercial and contracting services are given sufficient front-end consideration in the development of Category Strategies, Contracting Strategies and project schedules.
• Ensure delivery of business needs to schedule, cost and quality.
• Compile and monitor vendor market intelligence.
