Remedial Engineer / Australia

We've partnered with a prominent, nationally established Engineering Consultancy who are seeking Remedial Engineer to join their renowned team.  

The company focus on mid-large scale residential, commercial, social infrastructure and industrial type projects across Sydney. They're Sydney team is multi-disciplinary and working on a combination of new and existing projects.

We're looking for a degree qualified technical expert, with excellent knowledge of Australian standards and construction codes, who has the ability to collaborate with a range of different people is crucial for the role.

Roles and Responsibilities of the Remedial Engineer will include:

• Provide defective assessments and repair engineering services, on new and existing projects
• Undertake condition assessment and diagnostic testing on wide variety of structures including cladding, reinforced concrete, steel and timber structures and prepare condition assessment reports and repair specifications for the structures
• Develop and build upon group's capability in condition assessment and remediation of existing structures
• Support the development and maintenance of key client relationships 

To be considered for the role of a Remedial Engineer, you will have

• Minimum of 2 years' experience working on remedial projects 
• Ideally have prior Remedial project management experience
• Remedial building, general building construction and processes, investigation techniques, material specification, engineering principles
• Manage and direct project teams
• Business development and client base expansion capabilities is ideal but not a must
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills and ability to market and develop client relationships
