Supervisor - Renovations / Australia

The Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for day-to-day operations of residential renovation sites to achieve construction deadlines by managing suppliers and contractors, compliance and safety of all workers.
  

• Accountable for fast delivery of projects and progress claims
• Ability to work under tight deadlines/pressure 
• Manage multiple jobs in fabrication yard and multiple jobs onsite at any one time (60/40 split)
• Coordination of subcontractors
• Own trade base/ able to recruit new trades (Great rates of pay on offer)
• Good knowledge of current rates and able to negotiate directly with subcontractors
• Providing clear leadership and direction to the site team
• Ensuring the safety of all personnel on site, and a solid understanding of OH&S
• Checking of deliveries, work completed and invoices/ accountable for cost overruns
• Pre contract site inspections/ client yard meeting/ pre construction client meeting
• Able to get on the tools if needed
• Agility when rescheduling trades
• Manage customer expectations
• Manage trades with customer still living onsite
• Keep a tidy work site
• Team player, good communicator
• Electronic literacy- (Click home software/ iPad)
• Weekly client updates
• Weekly progress report to Manager/Construction Manager- accountable for claims progress 
• Be an integral part of a close-knit team

About You:
 
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Residential Supervisor experience (essential)
• Trade background or tertiary qualification
• Willing to split time between yard and sites across metro Perth
• Strong organisational skills and excellent time management
• Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple sites 
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality
