The valued client is seeking a Senior Advisor Compensation & Variable Pay for an 8-month contract in Calgary, AB.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Complete or support the completion of compensation survey submissions and data analysis to identify market competitiveness/gaps;
Provide consultation to HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and the HR Leadership team to develop compensation packages for new hires, and internal promotions/transfers based on evaluation of internal equity and external market data. This includes both corporate and field hires in both Canada and the U.S.;
Administer annual salary and bonus review process (market analysis, employee statement/communication, reporting, etc.), and other off-cycle review processes as required;
Effectively handle employee and manager queries related to compensation programs in a timely fashion, striving for high customer satisfaction; and
Participate in, and support an equitable, diverse, and inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

5+ years’ experience in HR Compensation within the oil and gas industry;
Experience with Solium/Shareworks is an asset;
Advanced MS Excel skills with experience developing complex modeling and pivot tables; and
Experience in HRIS and Compensation modules; SAP and SuccessFactors experience is preferred.
