Contract: Health & Safety Specialist / Aberdeen

The client,a global oilfield services company, are looking to hire a Health & Safety Specialist on a 6-month PAYE contract, to be based at their site in Stoneywood, Aberdeen. 

As an HSE Specialist, you will be responsible for: 

• Stoneywood Office with small workshop areas.
• Driving conformance to internal company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conducting site inspections to audit compliance with requisite HSE procedures, generate reports and recommendations based on findings.
• Compile internal and external HSE reports.
• Maintaining HSE Systems (such as Gensuite, Intelex).
• Assisting in the completion of incident investigation, preparation of incident reports, root cause analysis reports, evaluation of incident data and assisting in the development of corrective actions.
• Attending safety committee meetings.
• Supporting the site leadership team on all HSE matters.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Qualified HSE Professional – minimum of NEBOSH General Certificate.
• Have proven HSE experience an operational environment.
• The ability to problem-solve, process improvement and analytical skills.
• Be able to work on your own initiative.
• Have excellent communication skills and the ability to work successfully with a wide variety of people at different levels within the organization.

37.5 hours per week, 7.5 hours per day. 

Pay rate: up to £24 per hour, dependant on experience.
