Contract: Platform Construction Lead / Italy

MISSIONS / SERVICE DIMENSIONS
To manage the site construction multidisciplinary supervision team and control the activities, related to prefabrication and fabrication of the wellhead platform performed by the EPSCC contractor and his subcontractors, at yard and other workshops.

ACTIVITIES
HSE
• To achieve and to make achieve to the personnel, contractors / subcontractors the HSE rules of Fenix Project and of the Company.
• To achieve the goals and annual aims of the Project and to take part to their definition.
• To perform HSE audits and visits at fabrication yard and other construction / fabrication sites.
• To motivate, to qualify and to stimulate the personnel into a permanent way, with an exemplary attitude and a strong presence to achieve the fulfillment of the HSE aims of the Project.
• To assure during all the phases of the project, the implementation of HSE's procedure defined by the Project.
• To assure during the stage of construction of the works, the application of best and safe work practices.
• To take part of the definition of the HSE policy , proposing plans and actions.
• As necessary, to propose corrective actions and / or sanctions adapted in case of breaches or failures.
General
• To manage the site construction supervision team to achieve proper control of all the contractor’s and sub-contractors’ activities and disciplines:
• welding and NDT qualification
• structural work
• equipment installation
• piping prefabrication, erection and hook-up
• electrical works
• instrumentation works
• telecommunications & telemetry works
• safety works
• weighing, load-out and sea-fastening works
• deck mothballing for the duration of the drilling operations
• pre-commissioning and commissioning
• To assess the seriousness and urgency of any problems or potential problems encountered by or with the contractor and to obtain acceptable remedial action plans from the contractor.
• To assess the relevancy of construction-related Change Order Requests issued by the contractor and prepare supporting data for internal COR review meetings.
• To prepare and participate in weekly, monthly and ad hoc meetings with the contractor.
• To coordinate with the project supervisory team and to coordinate with other site team members as required.
• To report on construction activities to Platform Package Manager
