Contract: Emergency Management Program Review Coordinator/Facilitator / Calgary

The valued client, a large Oil & Gas company are seeking an Emergency Management Program Review Coordinator (Project Coordinator) on a long-term contract basis in Calgary. AB.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Manager of Emergency Management, the Emergency Management Program Review Coordinator/Facilitator is responsible for executing on the goals of the Emergency Management Program Review including tools development, risk assessment, mediation, facilitating engagement of select lines of business.

 The program review pertains to the entire Emergency Management Program including preparedness, response, compliance, and degree of service. The goals of this review include alignment, simplification, compliance, flexibility, and right sizing to meet business needs.


Description

Coordination all elements of Emergency Management Program Review, including but not limited to:
• Coordinate multiple workshops with the goal of bringing diverse stakeholder opinions together and facilitate mediation to reach common outcome.
• Collects and synthesizes feedback. Fosters collaboration and is goal focused with ability to drive multiple stakeholders to reach program review timeline.
• Works to keep decision records, facilitate management of change, and would complete a final report of Program Review findings and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Considered a specialist, works independent and can operate outside of established guidelines.
• Someone who can facilitate ambiguous conversations in a respectful and effective environment comprised of various opinions.
• Develops risk mitigation and ongoing improvements and developments in projects.
• Strong facilitation skills required to lead Program Review initiative.
• Emergency Management background considered an asset.
• PMP considered an asset.
