Contract: Technical Writer / Perth

We are looking for a Technical Writer to work with one of the key clients within the Oil & Gas space as a major Operator.


Position title: Technical Writer 

Pay rate: This role is paying upwards of $700 per day

Hours: 8 hours per day Monday to Friday 

Location: Working in the Perth CBD 

Length of contract:12 month contract 


Job Description:
The Technical Writer develops/updates written information regarding the development and updating of operations procedures for safe production operations at our LNG plants and offshore platform. Outputs include a range of documents to be read by both technical and non-technical personnel using and supporting those systems.
Scope of Work Examples: Updating and reviewing production procedures, production work instructions & maintenance work instructions to ensure changes are completed and documents incorporate human performance improvements
Responding to general questions from technical and non-technical personal, delivering on the team’s objectives and be a team player.
Managing workflows and following up with requestors, reviewers and approvers to ensure documents are completed in a timely manner

Successful candidate will have:
• Strong technical writing skills ideally within oil and gas
• English proficiency ideally with English studies
• Strong Microsoft word and SharePoint knowledge
• Understanding of Human performance in relation to procedures
• Understanding of document lifecycle process and ensuring good change management
