Contract: Materials & Logistics Coordinator / Australia

A large Oil & Gas operator are currently seeking an experienced Materials & Logistics Coordinator join their team based for ongoing Oil & Gas operations in Regional Queensland. This role is on a contract basis with the initial scope of 12-18 months.
 
Job Requirements & Specifics:

• The Materials & Logistics Coordinator will primarily focus on providing stock control and inventory management expertise for ongoing materials in and out of supply chain
• Coordinating surplus/operational spares to relevant departments such as CSU & well engineering
• Work with engineers to plan early procurement and coordination of materials to align with schedules

About You:

• Extensive experience in previous Materials & Logistics Controlling positions
• Experience in a heavy industry setting, ideally within the Oil & Gas industry
• Utilisation of SAP and Maximo programs
• Proven operational experience and knowledge of industry safety and environment risks.
• CSG Site experience would be a bonus
• Chain of responsibility experience
• Relentless drive for simplification and improvement.
