Rotation: 2 weeks on / 3 weeks off
Start date: July (tentative)
Scope of Work for Site Inspector:
• Provide a front line expertise, a first level of inspection, QC (repairs, modifications, new installation), and a continuous platform surveys (inspection round, visual inspection, periodic measurements, corrosion monitoring, etc).
• Focal point of all the Site Inspection matters (visits, NDT, recertification, material selection, etc).
• Focal point for the Government bodies and the associated QCs / Audits (e.g. DWEA for audits, DNV for SECE verification).
• Focal point for the Inspection related contracted activities (e.g. buffing, painting, needling, welding, PSV recertification, pressure tests, internal inspections, …) and contractors.
• Ensure that all equipment are included in an Inspection program.
• Execute the Inspection programs prepared by Onshore.
• Notify all the findings, recommend mitigation plan, recommend remediation plan.
• Contribute to the assessment and the prioritization of the findings.
• Ensure the follow up of temporary repairs and dead legs from an integrity perspective.
• Ensure that repairs / modifications / procurement of equipment are in compliance with the relevant regulation, company rules, OSP, technical codes and norms.
• Update Inspection Dossier (MAOP, pipeline thickness, metallurgy
Accountabilities and Purpose:
• Front Line Inspection.
• Coherence between equipment and Inspection program
• Execution of the Inspection program (including contractor supervision).
• Inspection reporting, audit and survey.
• Handover concision and good coordination / continuity with his / her Back-to-Backs.
• The development of his / her own competence.
• His / Her visibility Onshore.
BACKGROUND/QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE
• BSc Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent, with a curriculum in Inspection and Corrosion.
• CSWIP Plant Inspector certificate or similar
• 5-year experience of Inspection in the Oil & Gas Industry or Chemical Industry.
• Knowledge of Risk Based Inspection methodology and Knowledge of UNISUP/SAP (CIMS)
• A good leadership and management experience, with the ability to organize, lead and motivate a large team (both staff and contractors) from different cultures and different levels of education.
• A clear focus on HSE.
• Fluency in English
