Job Title: Subsea Project Engineer III
Contract Length: 1st July 2022 – End of December 2023

Key criteria
- Support squad leads in all phases of subsea construction engineering and delivery including but not limited to fabrication, transportation, SIT/loadout testing, installation, and pre-commissioning
- Provide support related to document reviews, installation analysis, technical query management and general interface management both internal and external
- Manages internal assurance processes to demonstrate readiness for execution in coordination with delivery squad leads
- Manages ‘fast-track’ scopes of work with limited oversight
- Drives a culture of safety and delivery intensity against schedule targets
Executes interventions as required to ensure robust delivery against Project needs and requirements
- Provides visibility of performance and risks
- Appraises Squad Leads and/or Construction Manager on performance and raises any blockers needing attention or escalation
- Manages documentation reviews and interface registers to ensure requirements are completed on-time
- Fully manages assurance processes with construction squads support
- Attends kick-off and pre-production meetings, Hazid sessions and progress meetings as required
- Maintains strong linkage with quality and HSE disciplines to ensure inspections, design changes, NCR’s, Self-Verification & Oversight and key risk action plans are actioned and addressed accordingly
- Engineering or technical degree equivalent
- Minimum of 5-10 years subsea industry experience
- Experience with gated project processes
- Proven capability of integrating with multi-contractor teams in the oil and gas construction sector.
- Experience with subsea construction vessels and subsea production equipment
- Experience with site management activities related to health, safety, and environmental issues.
- Demonstratable understanding of subsea construction vessels and associated industry standards.
- Effective leadership and communication skills
- Demonstrates personal commitment to achieving the highest standards of HSE and responsibility for the safety and well-being of everyone around them.
- Plans carefully, makes well-informed decisions and does the right thing.
- Speaks out when seeing something is not right and is prepared to so “no” or “stop” when necessary
- Able to communicate at Management and at operational levels.
