Job Details
Location: Ashley, IN
Hours: 12 Hour Shifts—60+ hours per week.
Pay Range: $60-$75/hr. depending on experience + $150 per day per diem.
Duration: 6 months
Job Responsibilities
- Help support the commissioning start-up and operations of a Hydrotreater, Fractionation Tower, and SMR Reformer.
- Responsible for the safe operation and maintenance activities of a highly safety sensitive process operating area.
- Handle equipment that requires working with high pressures and high temperatures.
- Follow safe working procedures for high pressure equipment.
- Responsible for documentation of daily activities.
- Start-Up Operators are required to work a 12 hr. shifts 6-7 days per week including, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Train junior level operators that will be permanent members of the plant on safe start-up and operating procedures.
- Serve as a mentor to new employees.
Job Qualification
- Must have at least 5+ years of commissioning start-up and/or operator related experience.
- Must have at least 3+ years of experience working in a refinery or petrochemical/renewable plant as an operator.
- Must have previous experience working with a fractionation tower and hydrotreater.
- Previous experience working with an SMR reformer would be a big plus.
- Candidates local to the Ashley, IN region would be a big plus.
