1. Site Engineer

The lead infrastructure recruitment specialist is urgently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a well known main contractor on a prestigious multi disciplinary civils project in Amsterdam.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil and or Structural engineering.
• At least 5 years' experience in Infrastructure projects
• Good command of both spoken and written English
• Dutch is a bonus
• Willingness to relocate to Amsterdam
• Experience with Deep Cut, concrete foundations or Formwork
• In-depth understanding of design and visualisation software such as AutoCAD

As a Site Engineer you are responsible for all technical and engineering aspects of the project. You will plan, schedule, predict, and manage all the technical tasks of the project to assure accuracy, proper resources, and quality .

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Preparing, scheduling, coordinating and monitoring assigned technical and engineering projects
• Monitoring compliance to applicable codes, practices, and performance standards and specifications
• Interacting daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and representing them in the field.

• Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
• Evaluate, organise and prioritise workload within a schedule
• Liaise with third party contractors to ensure all equipment is fit for purpose
• controls project costs by approving expenditures and administering contractor contracts.
• Prepares project status reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Maintains project data base by writing computer programs; entering and backing up data.
• Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
