TITLE OF THE SERVICE

Service Document Controller 

Context

Development studies for Blocks 20 & 21 are performed by the GPI, which is a multi-disciplinary and dedicated structure, acting on behalf of the Affiliate (TEPA) in accordance to HQ processes in terms of methodology and governance. This choice is justified by project context, field complexity and the overall project schedule (Fast-track project, 5 years from farm-in and operatorship transfer to First Oil).

Rhythm: Full time 5 Days a week 

Service Location:Paris (Possible rotations to Angola)

Start date: ASAP

Duration: 12 months+ 

Tasks to be performed

• HSE:
  • Adopt and demonstrate an exemplary behavior with regards to HSE and to respect all HSE requirements.
• Document Control:
  • Have/Develop a good knowledge of Company Specifications (GS’s/GR’s), TEPA and Corporate procedures related to Documentation Management and their application to the Project.
  • With the active support of the Project Control Manager, define the GPI strategy with regards to Documentation Management and prepare Project Document Control specifications, plan and procedures.
  • Ensure implementation of the relevant Document Management System for the GPI from a SharePoint based system during the early stages of the GPI up to NEW PRODOM during the Tendering and Project phases.
  • Support Contractors in the implementation of the Documentation Management system.
  • Use NEW PRODOM on a daily basis to register and control contractor-received documents, define and launch review work-flow, prepare/fill-in/maintain the distribution matrix, follow up and expedite reviewing process, compile commented documents.
  • Control the conformity of contractor-issued documents with regards to Project Specifications and Standards, using special tools for automatic control, commenting on the conformity of documents, and rejecting documents as necessary.
  • Provide support (training, daily assistance, advises) in the use of SharePoint/NEW PRODOM to the GPI team for their document related duties (review and comment of documents, approval process, etc.)
  • Define and issue a relevant reporting and statistics to the GPI Management showing progress & area of focus of documentation related matters. 

Technical Requirements

• Technical senior expertise in Documentation management through EDMS ideally NEW PRODOM.
• The service provider must have senior expertise in similar field.
• The service will be performed in english.
• Rigorous and analytical approach to task completion as well as intermediate IT expertise.
