Compliance & Permits Officer | Residential Construction / Australia

About the Role
Working closely with the Construction, Drafting, & Customer Liaison teams within this established, residential homes builder & developer, you will bring your experience within the council & building services permit /application processes to oversee and coordinate the entire process prior to construction commencement through the below;

• Proactively manage and prioritise pre-site requirements and approvals to support the Home Building delivery program
• Build and maintain effective relationships, and strengthen engagement with key stakeholders such as Councils, Private Certifiers, external consultants to provide information, respond to enquiries and resolve planning issues effectively
• Analyse development issues and propose solutions
• Coordinating & obtaining various planning matter requiremenets such as CC / CDC, DA applications, bushfire, flood, BASIC, etc. 
• Ensuring projects comply with planning schemes and building regulations
• Maintaining accurate documentation and file management
• Liaising with relevant stakeholders both internal and external
• Ensuring efficient workflow and that timelines are met

  
About You

• Tertiary qualifications in Town Planning or related discipline is preferred
• A strong track record in obtaining rezoning and planning approvals and/or delivering large scale design outcomes
• Onsite Companion software experience desired
• Well-developed connections and networks within Government and the property development industry is desirable

  
Remuneration & Benefits
The successful candidate will receive a remuneration package up to $70-80k+superannuation.
