Structures Engineer / Virginia, USA

As one of North America's largest builders of heavy civil infrastructure this national GC offers their teams the chance to work on some of the most technically challenging projects in the US.

In this instance they're looking for an experienced Structures Engineer to join a high-profile highway/tunnel project in Virginia to help deliver the build of roadway structures.

With at least 8 years' experience as a Civil Engineer, you'll have a background in coordinating the design/build of bridges, retaining walls and similar structures relating to major highway projects. You can come from a design consultancy or GC but must have demonstrated ability overseeing the technical implementation on site. If you haven't worked at least overseeing a GC this isn't the role for you. Reporting to a Snr PM this key role is a mix of hands-on field and liaison work for this iconic $4B project.

Project experience with bridges and similar road or marine structures is key and anyone with a Professional Engineer (PE) certification will be highly sought in this role.

Starting on site immediately this role is based in Norfolk, VA and will run through to the end of 2025. Paying up to $125K base plus industry leading benefits and vehicle, a relocation package/living allowance is also available for anyone keen to move to the area.
