Estimator - Renovations / Australia

The Company:

An established residential builder in the renovations and developments space, with nearly 50 years of trading history, are seeking to add an Estimator to their pre-construction team.

This role will see you working on projects from $250k - $1.5m across Metro Perth, with no 2 projects the same. If you're sick to death of working across Project Homes, then this role could suit you.

The Role:

Reporting to the Estimating Manager you will have the following responsibilities:

• Providing estimates for all stages of the design process
• Ad hoc pricing for upgrades
• Estimating product and material selections
• Maintaining a thorough knowledge of company specifications
• Resolving issues and queries in the enquiry stage with sales consultants
• Ability to realistically advise on budget issues
• Working with the sales team to improve sales conversion rates
• Estimates for variations, sketches and contracts

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• 2+ years experience working as an Estimator for a residential home builder
• Understanding of different construction methods (double brick, timber frame etc)
• A positive and self-motivated approach to your work 
• Excellent numerical and communication skills
