Role description
The Quality Inspector is responsible for supporting the Quality Manager in Projects in implementing the Project Quality Plan on site and executing quality activities on site in line with the requirements of the product specification and system.
The Quality Inspector reports functionally to the Quality Manager in Project of the project and is being led on site by the Site Manager. In case of non-project related issues or escalation the Quality Inspector reports to the team lead of the Quality Inspector team.
Responsibilities
- Quality Inspections and verifications, partially with the installation subcontractor, customer representatives,
- Service representatives
- Preparing and conducting the Quality Site Kick Off presentation
- Witnessing and assessment of workmanship practices (when performed) to verify and ensure quality levels
- Quality reporting incl. Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting
- Active reporting, management, and follow up of non-conformance work flows and records
- Supporting the site organisation in use of the non-conformance system
- Receipt, verification and upload of as-built quality documentation
- Maintenance of turbine traceability within the pre-assembly, installation and commissioning phases
Required Trainings and Equipments
- The Contractor will bring laptop, I-Pad and other specific equipment required to execute the inspection works whereas the customer takes care of system access.
- All required Personal Protective Equipment for the Contractors employees (Safety clothing, safety shoes, helmet and certified harness)
