The valued client is seeking a Technical Writer II for a yearlong contract in Calgary, AB.

Responsibilities:

Writes a variety of technical articles, reports, brochures, and/or manuals for documentation for a wide range of uses.
May be responsible for coordinating the display of graphics and the production of the document.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager
Will be involved in various document conversions to new templates, reformatting engineering specs

Qualifications:

May require a bachelor's degree in a related area and 4-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Quality Control/Assurance Technical Writing – formatting, style, adherence to branding.
Advanced Word, Excel, SharePoint, Adobe, Visio (mostly process flow creations).
Good knowledge of Document Control, industry experience preferred.
Support document revisions, work with SMEs independently to collect input for documents updates
