The valued client, a large Oil & Gas company are seeking a Integrity Engineer (Senior) to join their Calgary team on a long term contract basis.
What you’ll do:
• Lead the development of current and new Pipe Integrity Initiatives with different external and/or internal stakeholders
• Working with various Stakeholders (Project Managers, Technical Support, Gas Ops., Commercial and Program Planning) to ensure successful implementation of integrity management activities
• Supporting the development of internal standards, procedures, specifications, and metrics to ensure compliance with regulations, codes, standards, and industry best practices
• Provide timely support in engineering assessments, technical memorandums, feasibility, and risk studies using engineering principles
• Assisting in the development of future technologies and platforms to further develop effective integrity management programs
Minimum Qualifications:
• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Math Science from an accredited university
• 4+ years of progressive engineering or relevant experience in the pipeline industry related to managing assets throughout their lifecycle
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in Project Management
• Self-motivated individual with excellent work ethics and strong desire to learn and develop
• Proven ability to work and contribute in a team environment is required
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.
• Demonstrative initiative, willing and able to identify new opportunities for improvement and bring them forward
• Highly organized and able to effectively prioritize responsibilities and self-direct work
• Independent and self-motivated.
