About the Role
The client is an established, family-owned residential builder located in the North Shore of Sydney with a large pipeline of projects, with approximately 300 builds ongoing annually. This builder boasts brand new offices with a fresh & modern working environment in an extremely accessible location.
This is a PART-TIME role, with flexibility as to how this would work for the right candidate. If your preference is 5 short days, or 3-4 full days, this is all open for discussion!
Working across their two brands and reporting into their Operations Manager you will work across;

Working across their two brands and reporting into their Operations Manager you will work across;
- Full function AP & AR
- Keeping track of all payments and expenditures
- Paying vendors and respond to all finance related queries
- Payroll
- Manage all subcontractor payments, claims & contracts including ensuring necessary insurances are valid prior to work commencement
- PO generation and processing
- Continuous improvement of payment processes
- Generating financial reports
- Asset management
- Expense reconciliations
- Other adhoc requests & duties
For fulfilment of this role you will possess;
- MUST have recent experience as a Bookkeeper or similar
- MUST have construction industry experience
- A degree within Finance/Accounting is preferred
- Good communication skills - Both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and data entry skills
- XERO experience is ESSENTIAL
