Contract: Electrical Designer / Stockton-on-Tees

The client based in Thornaby are looking for an Electrical Designer to join their team!

We are looking for someone with PDMS or AutoCad 3D experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Preparation of General Arrangement and Layout Drawing, Schedules and/or 3D model.
Checking drawings prepared by others.
Supervision of Designers & CAD Operators as determined by the immediate supervisor.
Maintenance of drawing registers in conjunction with Document Control Department.
Working to the project programme, quality plan & IMS procedures.
Advising and guidance to apprentices.
Weekly updating of KHI engineering progress data.
Identification of scope change to base estimate.
Working within the allocated man hour budget for work scopes.
Attendance to assist site visits as required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
ONC or equivalent qualification or technical capability in the appropriate Engineering subject.
Appropriate engineering experience in the particular discipline.
Knowledge of engineering practices, codes and regulations and current HSE Legislation and
Regulations related to the discipline.
