This position is within Competency Development Group. The position is critical in providing training for Maintenance personnel. This is a special technical position intended to ensure delivery of both theoretical and practical preparation of Maintenance repairmen, , including:
Development of training materials, session plans, programs, rosters, courses and qualification checklists.
Develop and improve of CDG (Competency Development Group) work processes to support competency development activities.
Participate in developing and continuous improvement of CDG (Competency Development Group) work processes to support competency development activities.
Coordinate development of training materials and schedules of vendor (equipment suppliers) training.
Responsible for Training Matrix developing that shows assigned training courses for each Phase 5 Positions including vendor training.
Develop work plans and schedules for competency development specialists by disciplines to meet requirements of CDG business plan and key objectives.
Ensure interface of competency development specialists by disciplines with Area Supervisors during development of training material for Maintenance personnel.
Responsible for developing training modules, tests and vendor training manuals ensuring compliance with training plan requirements.
Cooperate with SERIP coordinators to fill gaps in training by incorporating reliability principles into training programs.
Ensure interface of training group with Area Supervisors and commissioning team.
Coordinate development of training schedules setting priorities and taking account of training across work areas to ensure workforce competency and accomplishing/maintaining enhanced organizational capabilities.
Arrange training of Maintenance personnel to ensure their competency in all areas including safety and regulatory compliance.
Keep track of ongoing trainings and submit progress reports to CDG Supervisor including the status of training courses and students’ progress.
Job Specification and requirements:
High Technical Degree.
Not less than 5 years of work experience in Engineer and Supervisor positions for repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment or instruments in Oil & Gas industry, experience at Tengizchevroil facilities is desired.
English language skills – Intermediate or higher level.
Analytical mindset. Logical mindset.
Excellent resource and time management skills.
Ability to support other team members in handling engineering issues and classifying process requirements.
