Senior Project Engineer - HV Substations - FIFO / Australia

Senior Project Engineer position has opened up on a $1bn energy project that's just kicking off and will run for several years

This is a FIFO role on a 3:1 roster

• Newly started project renewable energy project
• "Shovels just in the ground" so get involved right from the start
• Look after major HV Substation - 330kv 
• Management team where employee development is front and center at all times. You'll join as a Project Engineer, but from day one on the track to develop to SPE

As the Senior Project Engineer you will be responsible for: 

• Manage project activities and work scope
• Liaise with Client, Subcontractors and all project stakeholders
• Acting as focal point for technical advice on contractual matters and providing the project with best practice construction methods
• Ensure project is delivered in scope of contractual constraints
• Management of plant, labour and materials
• Monitor monthly forecasts

The requirements for the Project Engineer are:

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineer, ideally CPeng or RPEQ 
• 10 years experience in the design and construction of HV Substations 
• Effective communications skills and  experienced in client and sub-contractor management
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
