Contract: Process Engineer / Houston

 A major oil and gas operator is looking for a Process Engineer to support operations in Houston, TX on a M-F schedule (Fridays WFH) working 8 hr days, 40 hrs a week. Travel to North Dakota: approximately 25%

Job description:

• Experienced engineer with 7 to 10 years’ experience specifically in onshore US oil and gas facility design and operation
• Design experience across multiple fluid operating window types – black oil through to retrograde condensate
• Practical operations/design experience in multiple unconventional basins
• Current with EPA legislation/regulations for emissions management in oil and gas facilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering required

Required skills:

• Resource play, onshore and unconventional development experience
• Project design and execution experience

Preferred skills: 

• Operations support experience
• Knowledge of environmental regulations in ND
• Project management skills including budget management
