Contract: MC Engineer / Kazakhstan

Location: Tengiz 28/28

•    Excellent understanding of Systems Completion & Turnover Process - Turnover Milestones, Turnover Certificates
•    Turnover Strategies for the Infrastructure and Main Plant Facilities
•    Construction Contracts Scope of Works
•    Understanding of Construction & Commissioning Quality requirements, As-Built drawings, Mechanical Completion
•    Good knowledge of written and oral Business English;
•    Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors
•    Organize System walkdowns, Compile and validate Work to Go (WTG) lists 
•    Key interface with Systems Completion, validate PLI for concise information prior to upload into MCPlus.  
•    College degree preferred but not essential
•    Minimum 0-5 years of total experience required for position
•    Minimum 11-15 years of total industry specific experience required for position
•    Mechanical Completion expertise
•    Familiarity with POL system to be able to download as-built drawings and other Construction data
•    General understanding of the MCPlus system and support the Turnover Team to ensure accurate. Walkdown Punch Items List is available in the system.  
•    Interfaces with the Project Construction, Turnover Coordinators and Walk Down Engineers to support Walk Down Engineer in organizing walk downs based on Contractor MC Notifications and project schedule.
•    Records all identified punch items during Walk Downs.
•    Supports MCPlus team by providing approved Final Construction Punch List to make sure the final punch list items and their status are accurate in the MCPlus system.
•    Ensures that relevant punch lists of the Final Construction are available along with other punch list requirements as noted in the Punch List procedure. 
•    Participates in a pre-walk down meeting to ensure all participants understand the punch list requirements as detailed in the Punch List procedure.
•    Participates in a post walk down meeting following the completion of the walk down to ensure all identified items are finalized, registered, and categorized in accordance with the Punch List procedure
•    Participates in Contractor weekly meetings to update Construction and Contractor teams on the status of punch list clearing in support of Mechanical Completions
•    Experience in MCPlus database usage to determine status and expedite closure of check sheets and punch list items
•    Skilled in facilitating Red Zone / open construction & documentation items to closure with multiple construction contractors, engineers, regulatory affairs, and systems completion personnel to deliver mechanical completion on schedule.  Experience in holding others accountable to deliver to plan.
•    Work with the Turnover Team to prepare and issue the mechanical completion dossiers and certificates
•    Implement efficient process to engage Construction Contractors, Engineering, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Systems Completion to ensure timely review and approval of mechanical completion dossiers & certificates.
•    Facilitate field walkdowns with construction and walkdown engineers to ensure readiness for mechanical completion and to identify and document punch list items
•    Support the Walkdown and MCPlus teams to ensure the approved punch lists are accurate and of the correct quality before being entered into the MCPlus database
•    Proven understanding of Systems Completion & Turnover Process
