• Effective time planner with the ability to balance workloads and work to deadlines
• The ability to make sound decisions quickly and escalate to Management where appropriate.
• Flexible and adaptable approach to demands and changes in work activity
• Provide support for the administration of ME&I (Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation) contract/s, including Contract Change Management, claims management and administration, contracts assurance processes, and contract closeout.
• Contribute to safety program, health and environment protection, reliability, and efficiency to achieve world-class performance of company OE strategies.
• Actively participate in BBS, contribute to IIF culture, and engage in Incident & Injury Free / Serious Incidents & Fatalities prevention programs.
• Promote RUOK? care and concern for fellow workers.
• Work with other project teams & stakeholders to manage contractor performance and progress
• Ensure all contractor and company contract related deliverables comply with contract terms & conditions, in addition to expectations and requirements
• Participate in planning and review sessions
• Maintain record of discussions and agreements from contractor progress meetings.
• Support drafting of contractor correspondence and ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions
• Track / monitor Contractor’s performance with regards to meeting stated targets and objectives
• Comply with all company contracting policies and procedures
• Use required and applicable tools/software applications for managing contract correspondence, storing documents and confirming with contracting governance and auditing requirements, invoicing and payment policies and procedures.
• Review Contractor Payment Applications (Unit Rate / Reimbursable, Time & Material, Lump Sum)
• Payment Certificate and Milestone Completion Certificate development
• Coordinate provision and monitor performance of the following Contract Specialist support through the central Atyrau based contracts team:
• Post Award Contract Management (PACM) of all small and support contracts
• All Ariba work and Contract Amendment administration portion (including execution management)
• All close out work (excluding final settlement negotiation and related contract change development)
• e-PAAF and e-Equipment contract reviews (Power App to authorize equipment and manpower)
• Company approved items review/approval
• Back charges
• Contractor compliance (insurance, bond)
• Contract Appendix 22-Contractor Documentation Deliverables tracking
• Issuance of documents through eB
• Power BI dashboards (for correspondence logs, Work Releases, spend)
• During holidays or other times when Atyrau based resources are not available to do urgent work, support the Contracts team by performing the above work.
Job Specification and requirements:
Higher education in relevant field
Diploma or higher in Business or supply chain management is desirable
At least three years of experience in contracts development, administration and closeout related role in the Oil & Gas or related industries.
Technical/major capital project experience is desirable.
English (level 3+ and higher) – Kazakh and/or Russian fluency is required.
Previous experience with Supply Chain Management software applications. Proficient with most Microsoft Office based applications and shared document management systems.
