Contract: APC Engineer / Belgium

Location: Antwerp
Duration: 9 months renewable contract

I am currently recuriting for an APC Engineer to be based in Belgium, Antwerp for a leading chemical client.

Job Description:
- Increasing the safety and efficiency of production plants through analysis, design and implementation using computerized systems, especially process control systems
- Improving the operation of the plants on the basis of mathematical process models and optimization methods by:

Job Requirements:

- University Master degree (Chemical, Electrical or Computer Engineering or related
field) or PhD;
- several years of experience in chemical, refining or industrial manufacturing and/or capital projects with prior responsibility for APC applications
- Applied knowledge in control engineering, statistical process control and automated deviation management, profound knowledge in data analysis and data processing with
modern data science and AI methods;
-high IT affinity; very good knowledge in Matlab, Python, data mining etc.
