Contract: Buyer / United Kingdom

Key responsibilities: -

 

Manage & prioritise normal workload with daily operational requirements

Action maintenance/wells/sub-sea/office requisitions, issue enquiries & resolve technical queries

Review & evaluate quotes & timely placement of place POs in accordance with company policy & procedures, process order acknowledgements

Expediting of all orders for asset

Conduct supplier qualification as required

Attend internal TQ meetings / key supplier meetings

PO administration - inspection & receipt issues, invoice queries etc

 

 

Skills: -

 

Min 10-15 years buying & expediting experience preferably in Oil & Gas Industry

Market knowledge

Commercially and financially aware

Familiar with legal terms and conditions of purchase orders

System literate - SAP, eProcurement system & Excel

Team player with excellent communication, organisational & decision-making skills

Self-motivated with a can-do attitude
