We are on the lookout for a UX Vidual Designer to support our engineering client, with a 6 month secondment. This role will be entirely working from home, and will be covering maternity leave for the current staff member.
As part of the role, you will work alongside the UX Design Director to support the creation and maintenance of creative assets for multiple medias including web, CRM, presentations / other key documents, and email communications. You will also support ad-hoc design requests as needed.
Within the individual, we are looking for someone with significant experience within a similar role, who can demonstrate a strong design portfolio and is an expert user in the likes of Adobe CS Suite & Powerpoint.

Key responsibilities:
- Assist in conceptualizing, designing, and executing ideas
- Understand and interpret brand, user, and business needs, in order to develop innovative, creative, and results-oriented digital solutions
- Execute design deliverables for digital products such as wireframes, prototypes, user interface and emails, employing user/customer experience methods
- Apply design thinking and visual principles that guide and influence the execution of senior-management level presentations and reports
- Coordinate with different teams to deliver on the execution of internal communications, product releases, change management programs and training materials

- Effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work with short deadlines
- Collaborate closely with development teams to make sure designs are implemented as intended
- Strong design portfolio, preferably online
- Familiarity with design software and technologies (Adobe CS Suite, Figma, Sketch App)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software pack, especially PowerPoint
- Understanding of current mobile and desktop patterns
- Proven ability to work within brand guidelines
- A keen eye for aesthetics and details
- Strong communication skills (written / oral)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Highly motivated, positive and passionate team player
- Intermediate front-end implementation expertise (HTML / CSS / javaScript / +Email best practices)
- Strong understanding of how to apply design thinking when planning and scoping project work
- Basic understanding of Data Analytics and dashboard creation
