Summary:

The main function of an Operations Representative is to provide operational support to a variety of projects.

Responsibilities: Collaborates with team consultants, other functions learning from deep operationally experienced colleagues and assisting with identifying team focus areas in the arena of risk. Position involves data analysis, coordination, working with training, development and delivery persons and coordination of practice development.   Gathers lessons learned from existing operations and incorporates them into OA processes and planning for new opportunities.  Coordinates and leads OA workshops as required.  Helps to develop the proposed O&M Organization, O&M Cost Estimates and Reliability and Availability estimates for use in project economics and business planning for new opportunities.  Works closely with Technical Services and Commercial Development.  Responsible for developing and publishing required Operations Assurance processes and procedures to ensure new projects operational readiness.  Ensures team meetings operations support activities, procedures/practices and training programs.  

Responsible for on-boarding and conducting training programs for new internal and external team members, mentoring team members and leading work team focused projects Works with the Incident Audit and Investigation teams to identify learnings from audits and incidents and how these can influence training & development as well as practice development. Assists with management and control of team spending and seeking opportunities to optimize cost. Assists in coordination of team activities, meetings and performance management of team objectives and outcomes.  Creates and implements sound maintenance plans to keep team programs current. Performs other job-related duties as may be required or assigned.

Skills: Have strong technical background. Work in a very project oriented culture. Have strong project execution focus. Good spoken and written English is required; secondary language a plus. Ability to complete and pass pre-employment background and drug test. Must be willing and available to travel within the U.S.

Education/Experience: Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering  2-4 years of experience
