Corporate Planning Specialist (Economic Modelling) / Qatar

TAX Free Direct Hire Job Opportunity has been made available for an experienced Corporate Planning Specialist (Economic Modelling) to be based in Qatar by a leading oil and gas operator.

Job Purpose:

• Lead the delivery of Economic modelling and business cases for projects and plant for Company Management Leadership Team and Project managers to facilitate investment decision making. Subject matter expert in Oil and Gas Economic Modelling.
  
  

Key Job Accountabilities

• Lead gathering and analysis of production, technical and commercial inputs from different business sections and external sources, analyse those inputs, including economic evaluation and assure the development of business case for projects.
  
  
• Develop complex Economic models for large projects (50M to Multi Billion Capex). Align with stakeholders on assumptions and translate technical and planning data to economic impact. Run sensitivities on economic model, complete analysis and provide recommendations on proceeding with projects.
  
  
• Represent and uphold companywide Plan Project and Make Investment Decisions (PPMID) process.  Examine and verify PPMID assumptions, Develop Oil and Gas projects financial models, articulating the business case.
  
  
• Analyse and Deliver high quality reports/presentations suitable for executive management and shareholder consumption (internal and external entities).
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics.
  
  

Knowledge and/or Experience

• 8 years of planning, budgeting, reporting, financial analysis, performance management, benchmarking and/or project management experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory position ideally in the Oil and Gas industry.
