Inside Sales and Systems Management (Account Manager) / Scotland

The client is looking to add an experienced sales account manager who is used to dealing with high volumes and working closely with all departments on a daily basis, you must also have strong systems experience to update, monitor and edit sales orders on a regular basis to keep things moving.

What is involved:

* You will interpret customer demands and work with internal stakeholders i.e., planning, operations and commercial to deliver orders on time and in full.

* Processing Information -- Compiling, coding, categorising, calculating, auditing, or verifying information or data.

* Consistently review and measure sales orders against forecast information and provide accurate sales predictions, Analysing Data to interrogate forecasts and demand statistics.

* Work with planning to analyse and prioritise work orders in line with the customer's changing demands and work together to reschedule work accordingly.

* Manage, monitor, and control customer stocks in adherence to agreed monthly targets and stock agreements.

* Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of products and manufacturing timescales, processes to ensure an efficient approach to planning is adopted and customers are provided with accurate information.

* Resolve any issues raised by the customer and deal with or escalate complaints where necessary involving other key stakeholders as appropriate to ensure you are establishing and Maintaining Interpersonal Relationships -- Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintaining them over time.

* To support the Customer Services Manager and Team as required

* Documenting/Recording Information -- Entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic form.

* Monitor Processes, Materials, or Surroundings -- Monitoring and reviewing information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect or assess problems.

Experience Required:

• You must have experience in a similar role for at least 5 years as you will be one of the more senior members in the team
• Must have strong systems experience such as JD Edwards or ERP systems
• Manufacturing experience would be desirable
• A strong track record of coping with large workloads and dealing with important accounts and clients
• Self motivated and ability to work off own initiative (blended working from home will be in place when possible)
