Utility Engineer / Singapore

The client is assisting a global A1 Main Contractor involved in various infrastructure projects within Singapore.


Particularly this role, prior railway project experience is essential.


Responsibilities:

• Responsible for planning and technical co-ordination of all services installation work with relevant authorities
• Planning, scheduling and managing of all aspect of utilities coordination works for MRT station and tunnel
• Coordinate with authorities, consultants, sub-contractors and project site operation team to facilitate installation works and progress on site
• Chair and lead coordination meeting with relevant agency
• Management of NCE and trial trench works for locating existing utility
• Manage & Monitor progress, quality of workmanship and compliance with authority requirements to get an approval for water, drainage, and other major utilities diversion
• Propose circuit and line on each utility agency (SPPG, singtel, water, sewer, other telecom agencies)
• Communicate and coordinate with client, government and utility agencies

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years' experience with relevant tertiary education
• Experience in Infrastructure projects is mandatory
• Basic understanding of MRT project (Civil/Structure/ERSS construction sequence) requirement.
• Good communication and coordination skill
• Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines and requires minimum supervision
• Understand basic code compliance in Architectural, C&S and M&E works and construction sequence of work
• Positive attitude and good discipline team player
