Estimator - Bridges

The client are recruiting on behalf of a major US contractor who are seeking a Senior Civil Estimator who is a specialist in delivering bids and tenders with a focus on bridges, highways and structures.

Opportunity

The client has completed many award winning iconic projects. As a business they are a family owned company with strong roots to the Eastern civil and infrastructure market.

Project

The candidate must hold a specialised knowledge in Bridge construction with at least five years professional experience. Experience must be with estimation or project management of major heavy civil bridges/highway works. The candidate will be responsible for preparing complete estimates for assigned heavy highway, structures and heavy civil project(s) of medium to large size and varying complexity

The candidate will begin in November/December 2020 and be based in NY. Remote working may be considered.

Requirements

For this role the client have a minimum requirement of:

-At least five years experience in Bridge Construction

-Specialised knowledge and training in Bridge Construction

-Concrete/steel experience

-Degree in Civil Engineering, construction engineering or related discipline

-Fluent Language skills in English & US Residence.
