Senior Electrical Engineer / China

The client is a leading global engineering consultancy firm that has well established foot print in renewable energy sector.


The business is looking to hire Senior Electrical Engineer with below job details.


Responsibility:

• Manage and review design work of distribution or transmission network in the Asia-Pacific region, specifically in Taiwan.
• Hands-on in the grid-connected power stations for both conventional power plants and renewable energy power plants.
• Work within regional projects of solar PV plants.
• Manage multiple projects within the assigned timeline from clients.

Requirements:

• Possess Electrical Engineering License in Taiwan
• 3-5 years of working experience in renewable energy especially in solar energy.
• Minimum bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. Master's degree is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of International Electrical Code and Taiwanese Standards.
• Familiar with Power System Simulators (PSS©E, DigSilent or similar) would be an advantage.
• Native in Mandarin and full competency in English.
• Experience in managing and mentoring a small team of engineers.
• Ability to demonstrate engineering consulting work through written assignments with complex engineering context.
• Strong capabilities in analytical and critical thinking.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proactive manner and independent worker.
