Junior Project Planner/Account Manager – Basingstoke – 12 Months Contract

ESSENTIAL:-  This role is based more on soft skills rather than technology, you will need to have experience of leading projects and be able to translate in a none technical manner (this is NOT a Project Manager role) Strategic account management skills: research, listening, effective communication and presentation. Building a network of people through the Business, you will be the subject matter expert and know who is going to be responsible for what within the company and able to direct people in the right direct.  Experience of Organisation Change Management and be able to assist within any training and amending any documents for any changes made. Will be covering departments such as Sales / Marketing / IT.  Any experience of digital marketing services experience and any technologies that would be an advantage and leveraged into the company.  Any experience leveraging Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) as part of email campaign development and execution. Be able to demonstrate web development, management and governance experience.

Junior Project Planner/Account Manager Overall Job Purpose:

The NE Hub IDS team’s overarching role is to link the NE Hub affiliates to the IDS central organisation and local business function and will specifically be charged with:
  • Enabling business effectiveness and maximising value by identifying opportunities in or across business areas leveraging technology, process or information.
  • Delivering projects which improve business results and deliver exceptional Customer Experiences.
  • Ensuring IDS assets are ‘fit for purpose’.
  • Ensuring sustainability of the overall IDS operating model and capability
 
The function of the NE Hub IDS team, overall, is primarily one of Account Management and Value Assurance.
This Junior Project Planner/Account Manager role is based in the UK and supports the NE Hub group of countries, across my client’s BioMeds, Oncology and Diabetes Business Units. The affiliates in-scope of this role include all NE Hub Countries: UK, Ireland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland & Iceland.
Success requires that the Junior Project Planner is to be knowledgeable about business unit strategies, priorities, IDS processes, and is able to link IDS opportunities and issues with business needs.

Junior Project Planner/Account Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities where technology can be introduced or enhanced to drive better outcomes.
  • Represent existing and potential IDS Capabilities, influencing local business strategy and challenge where appropriate.
  • Align solutions that balance affiliate and corporate goals.
  • Lead projects by gathering, refining, prioritising requirements and coordinating delivery.
  • Collaborate with 3rd party vendors on solution development and delivery.
  • Effectively assess and communicate the value of contrasting IDS solutions.
  • Appropriately advocate change in the organisation through new ways of working be it, adoption of new technology process improvements to meet evolving business needs.
  • Lead, influence and drive OCM, ensuring new programs and solutions ‘arrive’ ready to deliver value.
  • Collaborate effectively to work as one team across IDS, Infrastructure and MCE.
  • Coordinate with other dedicated account facing roles including the regional Speciality, Diabetes and Oncology portfolio leads to ensure alignment and drive towards a single solution.
  • Capture and pro-actively share best-practices and look for replication opportunities.
  • Support new product launches and line extensions, contributing to transforming our business to succeed with a more specialist portfolio through use of multichannel.

  • Experience translating complex, ambiguous concepts into actionable plans.
 
Essential Skills:
  • Experience of project execution with technology and capabilities to support a multichannel, commercial organisation
  • Experience leveraging Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) as part of email campaign development and execution.
  • Demonstrated Web development, management and governance experience
  • Experience with an Agile approach to project delivery and it’s supporting technologies.
  • Strategic account management skills: research, listening, effective communication and presentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts in non-technical language
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a virtual (not collocated) environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver IT projects working with a cross functional team.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner cross-functionally.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the importance of quality and compliance obligations
  • Excellent knowledge of English language.
 
Desirable Skills:
  • Applied experience developing and “selling” business cases
  • Applied experience with sales and marketing solutions
  • Knowledge of multiple languages of supported affiliates.
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Experience in strategy development & business planning process.
  • Ability to leverage external best practice.
  • Experience working in an alliance relationship
  • Product launch support experience
  • Familiarity with the commercial business, the service value chain and the marketing processes.
