A leading EPC client currently require an Instrumentation Designer for detailed studies for a project to modify installations on oil platforms to be based in Pau, France, on an urgent 3-month assignment.
The Instrumentation Designer will study the installation and removal of instruments; Produce technical documents (instrument lists, inter-link diagram, plans routing, assembly diagrams, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, book of cables, specification of materials, specification of works); and carry out details studies.
The project includes the removal, modification, and addition of equipment and instrumentation lines.
It is essential that you have a minimum of 5 years experience with previous experience in brownfield modification work on offshore platforms. You will be proficient with PACK OFFICE, AUTOCAD and MICROSTATION. You will be fluent in French and English.
