The client, a specialist company providing process equipment & water treatment technology to the global oil & gas sector, is currently seeking to hire a QHSE Manager on an initial contract basis to be based at their facility in Aberdeen. This position may be transitioned to a permanent hire after certain time period.
Duties and Responsibilities:
HSE
• Manage and maintain the QEHS management system for company location.
• Oversee the implementation and compliance of all health, safety and environmental policies.
• Supervise safety training of all employees to regulatory and company standards.
• Implement preventive measures in all operations at all locations to prevent incidents.
• Network with management and operators to comply with all regulatory standards and best practices.
• Audit and evaluate current HSE policies and programs to determine effectiveness and improve if necessary.
• Perform incident investigations, determine root causes, and implement preventive and corrective actions.
Quality
• Oversee the implementation and compliance of the company’s Quality policy
• Focal point for the control of non-conformities, submitting NCR’s, performing investigations, driving corrective actions and leading the closure.
• Provide support to all employees concerning quality and maintenance issues
• Liaise with outside auditors and customers concerning quality issues
• Ensure operations follow and document all required steps for each project.
• Assume role as document control coordinator.
o Manage all HSE, operations, quality and maintenance procedures and forms (Data and records control)
• Ensure adherence to the HSEQ policies and procedures as specified under ISO standards for Quality (9001), Environmental (14001) and Health and Safety (45001)
• Ensure adherence to all company mandated Health and Safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications/Experience/Position Demands
• Deep understanding of Management Systems (ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001)
• Extensive experience with MS audits and ISO certification process in the UK
• Good communication skills.
• Proficient in use of computers / Microsoft Office and HSEQ reporting business applications.
• Relevant H&S qualifications including NEBOSH General.
