This role is for an experienced Administrator to provide crucial support to the Manager of a well established manufacturing facility located in Melbourne's inner Western Suburbs. You will be joining a global leader and a genuine employer of choice who pride themselves on putting their people first.
Key responsibilities will include:
1) Provide general administrative support to the Plant Management Team;
2) Inputting stock receipts and production orders into JD Edwards;
3) Perform warehouse data entry, goods receipting, order releasing and stock checks;
4) Monitoring and meeting the Plant stationery and uniform needs;
5) Producing correspondence and other general word processing as required
6) Answering occasional incoming calls and conducting yourself in a professional manner at all times.
To be considered you will need to possess a minimum of 5 years’ experience in an administrative role, preferably in a manufacturing or
logistics environment. Ideally you will have used JD Edwards software in previous positions. This experienced will be coupled with a can-do attitude. We are seeking a team player with excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.
The role will initially be offered on a 12 month contract basis, with the opportunity to go permanent beyond that time subject to performance.
