The client is one of the biggest renewable energy project developers in the world. Due to the development of polish market we look for experienced candidates for the position of Energy Advisor.
Energy Advisor is responsible for advising the client on risk strategies and implement commodity risk policy and process such as hedging, value risk management and reporting. Advisor provides insight and market intelligence to customers in the form of reports, meetings, presentation, drives the procurement workflow and oversee a customer's energy budget production. The employee also maintains the integrity of our client supply advisory software, writes and reports energy market content for internal or external commentary and presale work as requested. The scope of Energy Advisor also includes driving our client procurement engagement to achieve customers' goals and understanding their goals and organizations in order to tailor solutions.
The ideal candidate for this role should have minimum B.A. or B.S. undergraduate degree (economics, engineering or related are preferred) and have knowledge of risk and portfolio management and experience European electricity and natural gas markets. The Energy Advisor needs to have Energy Procurement expertise, accounting, finance and budgeting experience and previous power or gas price structuring, risk management or analysis experience. The perfect candidate should also be familiar with IT and programming to be able to improve existing spreadsheet-based models. Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills are required.
